VO-270-Rear

FORESTRY BUCKET TRUCK – VERSALIFT VO-270-Rear – HEAVY, INSULATED HIGH-REACH OVERCENTER

The Versalift VO-270-Rear bucket truck for forestry applications features a rear-mounted aerial device, located directly over the rear axle. With more than 75’ of working height, and more than 50’ of horizontal reach, this unit has 350 lbs of platform capacity and four A-Frame outriggers.

INCREASED OVERALL REACH AND CAPACITY

Versalift VO-270-Rear forestry bucket trucks enable 75’ 10” of working height, more than 50 feet of horizontal reach and 350 lbs of platform capacity, which allows forestry and tree care technicians higher and further reach. The Upper Boom and Lower Boom both travel Over Center allowing technicians higher and further reach. There are several advantages to having such a large working envelope, but an important one is improved productivity as a result of needing fewer chassis setups in an area.

The VO-270-Rear mount option allows crews to work off of the back of the truck, allowing them to get closer to their work and keeping debris from falling onto the cab. Trimmers tend to like the idea of the aerial unit staying busy on the site while the ground crew goes to dump chips. This idea allows the job to continue moving forward. The reach, range and versatility of Versalift VO-270-Rear forestry bucket trucks makes them a top choice for the forestry industry, providing valuable customers with some of the best reach and capacity available on the market today.

LOWER LIFECYCLE COSTS

There is no mandatory tear-down or rebuild on Versalift VO-270-Rear units due to their smarter and more reliable design. Beyond having a lower overall life cycle cost in dollars, the Versalift VO-270-Rear also offers superior reliability over time, creating a lower true cost of ownership.

DIELECTRIC INTEGRITY

Ensuring that dielectric integrity is maintained is a necessity. Through the use of Versalift’s patented Electroguard system, every Versalift VO-270 maintains at least 24” of insulation gap at all times, allowing operators to achieve complete insulation in any boom position, including fully retracted.
